The weather at Strøm is for the time beeing a little unpredictable. At one moment the dandelions were bathing in sun, the next moment our tent was picked up by a strong blast from Nothwest and almost took a hike up the valley. Norway is for the time beeing squeezed between a high and a low pressure, making the weather rather unstable. Hopefully the weather conditions will settle down by the 22 of june. Strøm, the festival arena

Strøm on saturday. A crew from Tronheim klatreklubb visited Strøm, Flatanger this weekend. We have cleared a lot of trees and bolted a dozen routes on two new crags. One of them can be seen on the cliff to the left of the turn on the road. The festival arena is situated on and around the farm closest to the sea. The huge cave, Hanshelleren is behind the ridge going to the top on the right hand side behind the farms.

We do now have the confirmation that Ethan Pringle will attend the Flatanger climbing festival. He has climbed 9a and will have a go on the hard routes in the cave. For more info and some convincing footage of Mr. Pringle, have a look at his homepage http://www.ethanpringle.com/

Pinse-samling på Flatanger
Det blir stor utfart til Flatanger fra Trondheim og Trøndelag forøvrig i helga. Det blir bolting, bading, klatring og masse hygge på Strøm. Vi kjører oppover på fredagen og bruker hele langhelga der oppe. Det vil selvfølgelig være mulig å delta i kortere perioder. For mer informasjon, ta en titt på hjemmesia til klubben eller FB. eirik
